Campbell reappointed to Board of Trustees

Timothy Campbell has rejoined the Stillwater village Board of Trustees.

Campbell was reappointed on Dec. 3 by new Mayor Judith Wood-Shaw to fill the one-year remaining on her Trustee term. Wood-Shaw was elected village Mayor Nov. 6, 2018 and has vacated her Trustee position effective today. The Trustee position will be back up for election in November 2019.

Campbell originally retired from the village board in March 2017 after serving four years. He is a third generation village resident, a graduate of Stillwater High School, and a retiree of the former General Electric Silicones plant in Waterford where he worked for 37 years as a heavy industrial mechanic.

He was also a member of the village Zoning Board of Appeals for four years. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 Crew Chief. Campbell and his cousin were best known in the village as the “Zamboni Brothers” for running and maintaining the village ice skating rink each winter.
