Newland-Wood Fire Company 59 from the Village of Stillwater hosted four other local fire departments last weekend for a firefighting practice session at the Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services fire training center in Ballston Spa.

This practice session concluded a five-month long joint training schedule between these local units which included the Arvin Hart Fire Department (AHFD), Mechanicville Fire Department, Hillcrest Fire Department, and Hemstreet Park Fire Department.
