The Stillwater Blockhouse held its annual end-of-year event: “A Salute to Veterans” on Saturday, November 10th. A variety of French and Indian War units and Native Americans, some coming from as far away as Boston to participate, portrayed what a battle looked and sounded like during the 1750s. The purpose of this annual Blockhouse event is to salute ALL of our veterans from the French and Indian War to the present during Veterans Day. The Boy Scouts helped out by taking down and storing the flags for the season.
