Stillwater’s Seth Marshall finishes an Eagle Scout project building a flower planter for the Major Dickinson Childrens Park sign.

Congratulations and thanks to Stillwater teen Seth Marshall, who completed his Eagle Scout project by building a large flower planter that now surrounds the sign at the new Major Dickinson Childrens Park.

Seth is a member of Twin Rivers Council Boy Scout Troop #4035, and will be a senior at Stillwater High School this fall. He is also a member of the school’s National Honor Society, and the son of village Trustee Eunice Marshall.

In the spring of 2015, Seth represented his scout troop and read an essay during a Memorial Day program to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville (see photo below right).

Village residents, Mayor Rick Nelson and the Stillwater Board of Trustees thanks Seth for his hard and creative work in helping to beautify the new park and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
