The Village of Stillwater and The Stillwater Area Community Center launched its new Senior Socializing Program on Friday, May 25.

The program, in the planning stages for many months, will be held on the last Friday of each month from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at The Stillwater Area Community Center.

A sister program to T.I.L.T., about a dozen people turned out for for our first such event to share some good company, play cards or board games and/or make a craft. Our team of volunteers included Donna Bove, Ellen Vomacka and Judy Wood-Shaw just to name a few.

Our next Senior Socializing Program is scheduled for Friday, June 29.Why not come out and meet our team of volunteers and spend some time with your village neighbors? Participants are encouraged to bring their knitting or crocheting.

A light lunch will be served along with some yummy desserts.
