The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Stillwater on Jan. 21 adopted Local Law No. 1 of 2025 entitled “A Local Law Providing for Cold War Veterans Tax Exemption.”

The purpose of this local law is to grant partial real property tax exemptions to veterans of the Cold War pursuant to Section 458-b of the NYS Real Property Tax Law. A copy of the new local law may be viewed at the link below:
