Dear new Stillwater resident,
Welcome to the Village of Stillwater! On behalf of the Mayor, Trustees, and our dedicated employees, we want to welcome you to our great and historic village, and we look forward to the opportunity to meet you.
Stillwater became an official town on March 7, 1788, and the village was later incorporated in 1816. During the 19th century, the opening of the canals along the Hudson River spurred industry in the community. Stillwater continues to grow today and is an important municipality in Saratoga County.
To get started on your new residency, the Stillwater Postmaster requests that all new village residents make a personal visit to the Stillwater Post Office in order to assure that a new resident’s address is successfully established for the delivery of mail. The Stillwater Post Office is located at 740 Hudson Ave. You may visit the Post Office website by clicking here.
We hope you use our website to get familiar with your new surroundings and the programs and services we have to offer residents.
Again welcome to Stillwater … we are delighted to have you here!
