Summer News From the Village

hello summer graphic

Dear Stillwater Village residents,

Happy Independence Day and that can only mean one thing … summer is here! School is out and the Village is buzzing with activity!

The Village is once again hosting our Farmer’s Market every Tuesday, from 3-6 p.m.  There are a great variety of offerings so make sure to stop by and enjoy.

The Village Splash Pad is open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.  Bring the kiddies to cool off. Stop by Upton’s Coffee shop for a cup of coffee and a treat on your way there!

At lunch time, relish some of the fare from Bucciero’s, Dom’s or Morenos as well as the weekly food trucks at the Stillwater Library.

The Village has purchased the plot of land just south of the Blockhouse and will be creating a pocket park there for our residents to enjoy. There is a naming contest currently underway. The information regarding this was posted recently. Check it out!

Submit Your Name for the New Stillwater Pocket Park

We are hoping that the park will be completed by September at which time we will schedule a ribbon cutting and announce the chosen name.

Please check the Stillwater Public Library and the Stillwater Area Community Center Facebook pages for more summer activities. There are lots of free activities at the Library and the Community Center for all ages.

Lastly, the Saratoga Spa State Park pools have free pool access this summer.

Be safe and have a wonderful summer,
Judy Wood-Zeno, Village of Stillwater Mayor
