The Village of Stillwater is working with an area vendor to create and display street banners honoring past and present village and town military men and women who have served our country.

Similar to other municipalities that have undertaken this program like the Cities of Troy and Amsterdam, the banners are purchased by military families and feature the veteran’s portrait and military information. The banners are hung on lamp posts along village streets for a period of three years to honor that service member. The cost to make each banner is $225.

Interest families are asked to download, print, complete and submit the application below, a photo of the veteran to be honored along with a check for $225 and made out to the Village of Stillwater. Mail to:
