The Stillwater Board of Trustees has approved a $1.69 million village budget for the 2023-24 fiscal year, which carries no property tax increase from the current year.

The village property tax rate will remain at $4.10 per $1,000 of assessed value in 2023-24. The new budget will go into effect on June 1, 2023 and runs through May 31, 2024.

The newly approved budget for 2023-24 totals $1,692,877 and breaks down as follows:

• General Fund: $939,402
• Water Fund: $378,750
• Sewer Fund: $374,725
• Total 2023-24 Budget: $1,692,877 – up $89,175 from 2022-23
